Sharing a live TV broadcast update on Tottenham Hotspur, via Football Daily, Sky Sports have some transfer news involving a new name linked in Angers forward Mohamed Ali-Cho.

The Lowdown: Spurs set for busy week?

Over this last week of January, reports have suggested that Spurs and transfer chief Fabio Paratici could be set for a busy final hurdle as they reportedly work on multiple deals behind the scenes.

Indeed, Tottenham are said to still be in talks for Wolves winger Adama Traore alongside the possible arrivals of other targets to bolster manager Antonio Conte's squad.

Alasdair Gold believes Spurs also want a striker at N17 before the winter window shuts its doors with Sky now sharing some news over who the Lilywhites have been offered.

The Latest: Paratici 'offered' Ali-Cho...

According to their information, as relayed by Football Daily, Tottenham have now been 'offered the chance' to sign Ligue 1 sensation Ali-Cho.

"Breaking transfer line to bring you, Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Angers forward Mohamed Ali-Cho," Sky explained.

"He's an 18-year-old, he's valued at up to €20 million (£16.7m), he was at Everton before moving to the French side 18 months ago, he's also played five times for France's Under-21's side."

The Verdict: Get it done?

The talented teenager, despite scoring just twice in 19 French top flight appearances, has been showing real signs of promise according to Ligue 1 media, even being described as a 'rising star'.

His manager, Gerald Baticle, describes the ex-Toffees wonderkid as a 'very intelligent' and 'open-minded' player who is receptive of the advice given him (Ligue 1).

However, for £16.7m, he would be a significant investment on behalf of chairman Daniel Levy as Spurs attempt to wrap up multiple moves before the window closes.

We believe Tottenham have bigger fish to try, like finally getting Traore over the line, and Ali-Cho should perhaps be put on the back-burner until the summer.
