The Lilywhites, unlike a few of their rivals, have been quiet on the transfer front so far, and with June already nearly two-weeks done, fans are getting concerned.
However, things could yet get worse for Tottenham.
At present, there is a chance that June could turn a nightmare month for the Lilywhites. Nothing they’ve done so far suggests that they’re looking to wrap their summer window up quickly, and instead, it’s looking more likely to be a bit of a disaster.

Tottenham have made a habit of buying unknowns and turning them into stars in recent years, but this summer, they need something different.
They need invest in proven talent as they look to break into the Premier League title race, and thus far, they’re yet to work on that.
It’s been all quiet on the transfer front so far, and that needs to change – sooner, rather than later.
Unwanted Transfer Sagas
Tottenham will be wanting their key players to have a good World Cup, naturally.
A strong tournament will set them up nicely for the next season.
However, it could also generate a lot of unwanted attention. The likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, in particular, are players that would be right at home at the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona – and strong performances on the biggest stage will no doubt generate an unwanted source of interest.

If there’s one player in the Tottenham squad that is facing an uncertain future, it is Mousa Dembele.
Tottenham are apparently open to offers for the Belgian, and whilst, taking his age into account, a sale makes sense, it would be a huge mistake to let him go this early.
Particularly, Tottenham can’t afford to sell him without bringing in a replacement that they can guarantee can do a similar job. He’s so crucial to this team, and losing him would be nothing short of a disaster.
