Harry Kane or Gonzalo Higuain?
Both as accomplished as the other; both successful in their pursuit of goal scoring; and now both in the Premier League.
The signing of Argentine Gonzalo Higuain marks the arrival of yet another quality forward into the top tier of English football and sparked an interesting debate over which player is best at what they do.

The big forward has finally been reunited with manager Maurizio Sarri – the man who is arguably responsible for making him the player he is today thanks to their time at Napoli where he scored 92 goals in 147 games.
His move, which was a transfer record at the time, to Juventus was equally as successful. The Argentine’s supreme attacking brain and technique in the box helped him to a further 55 goals in 105 appearances before he was unceremoniously moved on like an old play toy to make way for Cristiano Ronaldo.
We can only imagine this was motivated by money rather than lack of ability to Higuain is one of the most lethal forwards we’ve ever seen, as he showed in his Premier League debut against Huddersfield scoring two fantastic goals.
He could be considered a little lazy however, unlike our next candidate.

Harry Kane
There isn’t much to be said about Harry Kane another than he’s world class.
Appearing almost out of nowhere following some poor spells in the lower tiers of the English game, Kane has made one of the most rapid climbs toward the footballing elite we’ve ever seen.
His work rate and tenacity is second to none which, for us, is a mark of a quality, modern centre forward. 160 goals in 244 Tottenham Hotspur appearances isn’t too bad either.
Providing injuries don’t get in the way, there’s no real doubt that Kane will break any and all domestic and international goal scoring records.
TT Grade: A++
Verdict: Harry Kane
There’s no doubt that these two are two of the best forwards in Europe at the moment, but we’ve got to go with Harry Kane.
Both players are physical, both are capable playmakers, and finishers, but Kane is just leagues above anyone else. He really is everything strikers should aspire to be and more, and at the age of 25 to be doing what he’s doing is rare.
Of course, Higuain will undoubtedly be a success at Chelsea and could even save their season so it’s well worth watching out for him in the coming months. He may even prove us wrong.
