The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s latest Twitter post on the new stadium. The club posted a picture of the stadium in the sunshine and the fans can’t wait to see their team take to the pitch in it, despite a few concerns from the Lilywhites over whether it’ll be ready in time.

Spurs have played out all of their home games at Wembley this season as their new ground has been under construction. The club played out their final season at their former ground, White Hart Lane, last year before demolishing the iconic landmark in N17 so they could continue to build the new stadium. The club went unbeaten in the Premier League in their final season at The Lane, winning 17 and drawing the other two of their 19 home games.
The fans will be hoping they can take their White Hart Lane form into the new ground as they aim to meet the deadline of having the construction completed by August, in time for the start of the new Premier League season. This could be a too tight of a schedule with some fans worrying that it won’t be completed in time for the start of the campaign, which is usually around mid-August. However long the stadium takes, Spurs fans can’t wait to take up their seats and help create history in the club’s new home.
