A young man [© Ray Wilkins] by the name of Muhammed Demirci is quietly setting the world alight. Or at least he’s getting a good few football scouts hot under the collar in Spain.

This 16 year old is currently trialling with none other than Barcelona, but the young striker has already debuted for Besiktas, with whom he has a contract until 2013 with.

Rumour has it that the Spanish giants will almost certainly offer the boy a place, but it is thought that Dermirci would be more than a little interested in the prospect of a premiership move. One to Old Trafford would surely be just the ticket.
