Tottenham Hotspur supporters are praying that their side can improve on consistency in the next campaign after failing to keep up with Manchester City in the race for the title.
Spurs find themselves in the Champions League once again in the campaign coming up, with aims of making it further in the competition after falling to Italian giants Juventus.
Although, with just a few weeks left until the start of the new campaign, supporters are worried that Mauricio Pochettino is conducting his business a little bit too slowly.
The London club are reportedly in for a number of quality players this summer, but failing to bring them to their new stadium could see Tottenham struggle just like West Ham United did at the London Stadium.
With that in mind, here’s TWO things that could ruin Tottenham’s campaign next time around…
Tottenham have reportedly tabled a bid of £15.9 million for Croatian defender Domagoj Vida, after his excellent displays at the World Cup this summer.
However, they aren’t the only team chasing his services this summer, as top-four rivals Liverpool are also taking an interested in the defender.
Losing out in the race for the 29-year-old could give Liverpool the psychological edge heading into the new campaign, and would help cure one of the Reds’ biggest weaknesses at this moment in time.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of Bordeaux winger Malcom.
The Brazilian established himself as one of the hottest topics in world football during the last campaign, which has seen the likes of Tottenham and a number of other clubs take an interest.
However, Spurs previously tried to sign the winger but nothing really came of the interest, so they could spend the rest of the window chasing the 21-year-old without anything to show for it.
