Villa Park To Be Graced By World Cup Star?

Keissuke Honda of CSKA Moscow turned a good few heads in last year’s World Cup. If what his advisor Kees Pleogsma (easy for you to say) is saying reflects reality, he could well be Premiership bound.

“Some clubs have expressed interest. We are now awaiting a serious offer.”

Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal were the Premiership sides mentioned. This sounds like tub thumping by the ‘advisor’ to me. I wouldn’t be confident that this guy is seen as the missing piece in Kenny Dalglish’s jigsaw puzzle.

It could be argued that the cupboard at Villa Park is bare after weighing out on Darren Bentbut for me, after watching how reinvigorated Aston Villa looked against Manchester City do they need anyone else?

And Arsenal surely have greater priorities than to find yet another midfielder?

There were rumours about the player making a move to Europe last summer, but it didn’t amount to anything tangible.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
