‘We can dream can’t we?’ - Chelsea fans call for Conte to sign La Liga ace

A stellar first season in England under Antonio Conte has left the fans in the pub feeling absolutely delighted, but next season, they want even more.

Whilst the Premier League was won fairly easily in the end, next season is going to be a far tougher challenge for the Blues. The return of the Champions League is going to increase fixture congestion ten-fold, whilst the other teams around Chelsea in the Premier League will be expected to improve this summer.

For Chelsea, then, improvements to the first team squad is the absolute minimum that is expected this summer, and one player that has been touted with a move is James Rodriguez. The Real Madrid midfielder has been in and out of the Real Madrid first team in recent months, leading many in the pub to speculate that he could move this summer.

For the Chelsea fans in the pub, he has been touted as a dream signing – and the fans on Twitter are in agreement. In fact, many fans think that the Blues should sign him at all costs…
