The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side to get back to full fitness and get back in the frame for a top four finish…
The Gunners have struggled with fitness troubles in recent weeks, with several key players – most notably Petr Cech – succumbing to injury troubles.
In the lead-up to Arsenal’s Monday night clash with Crystal Palace, though, manager Arsene Wenger has provided somewhat of an update in that regard – and whilst Monday may come too soon for several players – the Frenchman has revealed a pretty significant piece of good news for the Gunners.
According to the Mirror, he said: “From Wednesday, nobody should be out”.
This is a huge boost for Arsenal, as it should mean that all of Arsenal’s key men should be available for what is sure to be a very difficult Premier League run-in.
The Gunners are currently outside of the top four, and with Wenger’s long-term future potentially relying upon Champions League football – a strong finish to the campaign is essential.
