If there is one West Ham United player that the Hammers supporting punters in the Transfer Tavern worship, it’s Mark Noble.
Born and raised in Canning Town, Noble is the club’s Mr. Consistency and the captain of the club is an example to the youngsters coming through the ranks at Upton Park.
Noble was present during Saturday’s disappointing 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Watford and the man who has played 288 times for the Hammers says that his team got exactly what they deserved.
“We started alright for the first five or ten minutes but then they grew into the game. We weren’t on it for sure – we weren’t the team that we normally are. The run had to come to an end but it has come to an end in a very disappointing manner.”
“I am an honest man and we got what we deserved from the game – nothing!”
West Ham will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday when Everton travel to Upton Park.
