West Ham consider forward arrangement after dreadful season

Since moving to the London Stadium, life hasn’t been too great for the West Ham United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, with many of them drowning their sorrows.

Having had such a good season last time out, the changes made over the course of the summer look to have created more problems than they are currently worth for the Hammers.

One of the major disappointments has been the failure of many summer signings to make an impact in east London, despite signing so well over the past few years.

Well, imagine how little the Irons propping up the bar are surprised to hear reports from the Sun then.

They’ve revealed Slaven Bilic is already planning to axe Jonathan Calleri from his ranks, after only moving to the club in the summer.

Largely, the 23-year-old has failed to convince in claret and blue since his arrival from Deportivo Maldonado on loan.

It’s believed the Argentine forward has no permanent future at the club and a permanent decision is expected to be made over the coming weeks.

“Calleri is another player that could be outward bound this winter”, said a club source.

“The club have not fully made up their minds, but it is not looking good for him. He has just not settled.”
