Things haven’t been going too well either on or off the pitch for the West Ham supporters in the Transfer Tavern of late, who’ve endured a miserable opening quarter of the campaign.
After Slaven Bilic proved himself as the darling of east London last term, the Irons have since struggled in the London Stadium, with many summer signings looking like poor investments.
So, reports from the Sun have only reaffirmed the state of confusion the Hammers propping up the bar are in these days.
Over the course of the summer, striker Diafra Sakho looked set to leave the club after falling out with those behind the scenes, though saw a move to West Brom breakdown.
Now, the report claims the Senegalese is in line for a NEW deal in light of the struggles shown by summer signing Simone Zaza.
Currently out of contract in 2018, the 26-year-old is reportedly in line for a new one should he prove his worth to the club and it’s understood he will get a pay rise on his current £27k-per-week one.
Can Sakho still lead the line for West Ham? Let us know below…
