Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see strikers join the club in this window and they may be about to get their wish with The Sun suggesting they have an interest in Andre Gray.
The Hammers have struggled at times this season but are looking a little more stable after last month saw them record a handful of victories.
They lost to Manchester United last time out, though, and so they are evidently not out of the woods yet.
What they’ve struggled with most, of course, is scoring goals with Simone Zaza failing spectacularly and Andy Carroll only just returning from his latest injury so it appears Bilic is eyeing strikers in this window.
Andre Gray is the latest name to do the rounds and he’s certainly shown he can play at this level with a recent hat-trick for Burnley against Sunderland impressing many.
He’s shown he has power and pace with a clear eye for goal and those components combined could make for a decent striker for the Hammers going forward whilst our landlord thinks it could prove a shrewd signing, too.
