A lot of West Ham fans are discussing Manuel Lanzini after a supporter posted a video on Twitter showing his highlights during his career in East London.
The Argentinian has had to settle for a place on the bench as of late, with David Moyes bringing Pablo Fornals back into the side, per Transfermarkt, but fans are still hopeful the 27-year-old can return to his best if he gets back into the starting eleven.
Lanzini has missed 69 games due to injury since he joined the club in 2015, with his worst spell on the sidelines being in the 2018/19 season, where he was out for 256 days due to a Cruciate Ligament Rupture.
Since then, he has only managed six-goal contributions, assisting five times and scoring once.
With the summer transfer window coming up, and West Ham reportedly only having a budget of £40 million to spend according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, they might look to try and move him on to fund future signings.

He was definitely our jewel then…hopefully he can regain that form for us.

Bilic Lanzini was something! Hasn’t seem the same since Bilic left and Manu’s injuries. Would love to have him back like this but think Fornals will overtake him now!

Had a great goal v West Brom at home, too. Step over and left footed shot

He will never improve while he is at West Ham.
Needs the change to freshen it up…we’ve changed managers, we’ve changed his position, we’ve bought people to play around him.
Only thing left to do is for him to leave to try and further his career. https://t.co/6j86YiFhXI

Been a massive critic of his, but I would genuinely love to see him return to this level of performance.
He has so much ability, and hopefully Moyes puts his arm around him and gives him a much needed confidence boost once the beautiful game returns. https://t.co/KrTQklaSVq
