West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere is a player talked about a lot by fans, however his latest comments which have been posted on Twitter have not gone down well with a lot of the fanbase as he talked about his future.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Wilshere said: “I still feel like I’ve got unfinished business at West Ham. It’s not worked out how I wanted it to and I want to change that. When I’m done at West Ham, I don’t want West Ham fans to think: ‘that was a waste of time.’ It’s like a fresh start for me.”
It is good to see the player wants to fight for his place at the East London side, however the amount of time he has had to spend on the sidelines has frustrated supporters, and many feel like it is time for him to move on, with one saying: “Yeah ok. It’s still a bye from me”.

It is easy to see why fans are frustrated as the England international has missed 61 matches due to injury since he signed from Arsenal in the summer of 2018, per Transfermarkt.
The midfielder was so highly rated whilst playing under Arsene Wenger, indeed he controlled the midfield and looked the best player on the pitch at just the age of 19 against FC Barcelona in a Champions League match, via Givemesport.
However he has only managed 566 minutes of football in the Premier League for the Irons, via WhoScored, and it is just not good enough for fans, as they feel like his wages could be spent elsewhere. One supporter even labelled him a “broken clown.”
Here is what fans had to say following the post:

Yeah ok. It’s still a bye from me…

To late Jack. We all think exactly that. How’s the pay reduction going?

The irony that Wilshere somehow feels he has unfinished business with West Ham – having played only 16 PL games (most as a sub) in two seasons at the club seems to suggest that he hasn’t actually started business with West Ham as yet.
