West Ham: Fans not happy that David Moyes doesn’t play Pablo Fornals often

Many West Ham United fans on social media have admitted that they aren’t happy that David Moyes continues to leave Pablo Fornals out of the team.

The Spaniard joined the Hammers from Villarreal in the summer for a fee of £24 million (BBC Sport), but has struggled for game time since the Scot replaced Manuel Pellegrini in the dugout.

Indeed, Fornals has started in just two of the seven Premier League games that Moyes has overseen and in the last few weeks, his time on the pitch has been decreasing.

After starting and playing 60 minutes against Everton he has since played 45 minutes against Leicester, 21 minutes against Liverpool and five minutes against Brighton. Then in their most recent game against Manchester City, the 23-year-old wasn’t even included in the matchday squad (Transfermarkt).

Club insider @ExWHUemployee has suggested that Moyes doesn’t rate Fornals, which would explain why he isn’t being played much.

In response, loads of Hammers fans have been critical of Moyes for refusing to utilise the former Spanish under-21 international more often, with many taking to Twitter to slam the Scot for this.
