West Ham fans were given a treat by the club’s Twitter account yesterday when they tweeted a video of Manuel Lanzini continuing his rehabilitation at the club. The Hammers love Manuel Lanzini and when he’s fit he’s a force of nature, on 11th September he returned to West Ham to continue his rehabilitation but no return date has been set for the midfielder.
Can’t wait to see you back on the pitch soon, Manu! pic.twitter.com/PYLK8ykSq7

When he’s fit, Manuel Lanzini is the gem in The Irons’ crown. His ability on and off the ball is sorely missed at the club at the moment and there’s no doubting that alongside Marko Arnautovic and summer signings Felipe Anderson and Jack Wilshere he could help the Hammers really challenge for a place in the top eight of the Premier League. However, the fans could be waiting for his return for a long time at this rate.
The 25-year-old was touted to be a big player in the Argentinian national side for the summer World Cup but in training with his country, he suffered his knee injury which ruled out him out of his World Cup debut and most likely the entire Premier League season with The Hammers. Unfortunately, injuries are a part of football and Lanzini has been dealt some dreadful luck, but he’ll be keen to get back to fitness as soon as possible and show the West Ham fans exactly what they’ve been missing.

The irons will be desperate to have Lanzini back and will be excited to see a front three of Anderson, Arnautovic and Lanzini in the Premier League.
