After forking out a lot of money during the summer transfer market, there could now be some interesting developments in regards to outgoings at West Ham when the window reopens in January.
And one of those developments could involve the long-term future of Reece Oxford who is currently out on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
According to Sky Sports, the Bundesliga outfit are looking to make Oxford’s temporary spell at Borussia-Park a permanent one with the English youngster having seemingly done enough during his two loan spells in Germany to impress the club.
Given the expectations surrounding Oxford at West Ham following his impressive debut against Arsenal back in the 2015/16 season, the Hammers losing one of their brightest youth products may come as a disappointment.
But with the current options Manuel Pellegrini has, it is hard to see the 19-year-old breaking back into the senior squad, making a permanent transfer away from the club logical.
Have a look at what West Ham supporters are saying on Oxford’s future below…
Get the money and run, his attitude stinks, Rice and Diangana are the future

As long as the bulk of a fee is upfront and not 50% plus in imaginary add ons that will never be activated.
