West Ham will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League tonight when they take on Cardiff City at the London Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men were superb last time out after they beat Newcastle United 3-0 with Aaron Cresswell just one of the team’s top performers on the day.
The 28-year-old, however, was taken off in the second half after sustaining a hamstring injury and is now a doubt for the visit of Cardiff, meaning £6.3m-rated (Transfermarkt) Arthur Masuaku is now likely to come back into the side.
Masuaku had started the season as the Hammers’ No.1 left-back with injuries and form having forced Cresswell to settle for time away from the starting XI, but the DR Congo international now faces a difficult task of maintaining a regular spot with his rival for that defensive position looking like his old self again.
Have a look at what West Ham supporters are saying on their club’s current left-back situation below…
Need him fit, looked like his old self on Saturday, hoping he can stay in that form
