West Ham fans are continually impressed by their new signings this season. Manuel Pellegrini played a blinder over the summer with his signings of Issa Diop, Felipe Anderson and Fabian Balbuena. However, the man who’s shone brighter than all of those is the fantastic Lukas Fabianski, who has been far and away their best player this season.

The Irons have had a lot to celebrate this season. Whilst they may not be where they want to be at the moment as they occupy 10th spot in the Premier League, they’ve claimed the scalps of Manchester United and Arsenal whilst managing to hold both Chelsea and Liverpool to draws, and none of that would be possible had they not moved in the summer to bring in Fabianski.
The Polish goalkeeper has always been overlooked as a player who could be snapped up by a big club, yet at The London Stadium, he’s showing that he deserves that sort of move. The 33-year-old is a different goalkeeper to the one that was at Arsenal all those years ago, and in his time at both Swansea and now West Ham he’s evolved into a top player, more than deserving of the Hammer of the Year award.

Rice or fab. Hard to call as they’ve both been world class but I’d have to tip it to fab, best keeper I’ve seen at West ham since green

The Hammers cannot get enough of Fabianski and are so grateful to their Polish shot-stopper for the amount of times he’s saved them.
