Manuel Pellegrini will be pleased with how things are currently going at West Ham after a slow start to the season.
After four consecutive Premier League wins with their latest coming against Fulham, the Hammers now sit ninth in the table and just two points behind sixth-placed Manchester United.
In this good period for the club, though, it has not been all positives for Pellegrini with the former Manchester City boss still unable to work with his whole squad due to injury.
And that is unlikely to change any time soon with summer signing Jack Wilshere set to miss the whole festive programme of fixtures, according to the Daily Mirror.
£18m-rated (Transfermarkt) Wilshere is yet again struggling with an ankle injury, and West Ham are now fearful of the 26-year-old needing another operation.
Given his quality, there is still time for Wilshere to come good at West Ham. But as things stand, it is probably fair to say his move from Arsenal has not quite worked out.
