West Ham: Fans react to Pablo Fornals’ comments on Robert Snodgrass

A lot of West Ham fans are talking about Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals’ latest comments on teammate Robert Snodgrass.

The creative midfielder has been speaking to Spanish media outlet Marca, and said, “A player who I love and would always have on my team is Robert Snodgrass. He hits the ball spectacularly with his left foot. I’ve never worked with anybody like him.”

This has caused a mixed reaction from the West Ham faithful, with some agreeing with the player and some confused by his latest comments.

Since his £10.80 million transfer in July 2017, Snodgrass has played 79 times, scoring nine goals, and picking up 16 assists, per Transfermarkt.

The 32 year-old Scottish attacker has managed five goals and five assists in 24 appearances this season, whilst averaging 1.4 key passes per game, via WhoScored.

In his debut Premier League campaign, Fornals, 24, has managed 27 appearances, scoring two goals and managing five assists, per Transfermarkt, and it is good for fans to see that he is appreciating the team around him despite their poor season as they sit 16th in the division and only two points away from Aston Villa in 19th who have a game in hand, via BBC Sport.
