A lot of fans are not happy with the latest reports that current Manchester United defender is a player David Moyes will look to buy in the summer.
According to The Mirror, Phil Jones is available for £12 million, but West Ham will have to battle it out against Newcastle United, who also want the former England defender. He could potentially be a replacement for Issa Diop, with the Frenchman reportedly the subject of interest from Arsenal.
Jones has seemingly fallen out of favour on the red side of Manchester for the last season and a half, and this season he has only made two appearances. Indeed, if the 28-year-old wants to reignite his career, then a move could be a good option (after all, Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku have thrived after leaving) where he can potentially play consistently.
However, fans will surely be hoping that such transfer news does not mean that highly-rated French centre-back Diop will be leaving the club in the summer amid his links with Arsenal. The Gunners have been linked with the 23 year-old in the past as well.
