West Ham: Fans sympathise with David Moyes after Everton draw

West Ham United fans have expressed their sympathy towards manager David Moyes as they hope that he gets the investment he deserves from the club’s owners.

The former Everton manager took on his former side at the London Stadium as they drew 1-1 on Saturday. Issa Diop got the opening goal for the Hammers before the Toffees scored the equaliser just three minutes later from Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The result left the East London side 16th in the Premier League table and just one point above the relegation zone, but Moyes insisted that his side will not panic buy, as per Sky Sports.

Despite David Gold, David Sullivan and Karen Brady all having a supporter in Harry Redknapp, fans have been furious with the way that the trio have run the club, with one fan saying that they “killed a club we all loved“. As a result, supporters have rallied behind Moyes, who is currently managing the club for the second time in three years, and hope he gets the investment he deserves during January.
