West Ham fans take to Twitter to marvel at Nasri display

Yesterday saw possibly the greatest comeback in the Premier League this season unfold at The London Stadium. Whilst the Hammers looked dead and buried whilst 3-1 down to 20th placed Huddersfield, they somehow turned it around, and Samri Nasri’s introduction was crucial to that turnaround.

The Frenchman replaced the goalscorer, Mark Noble, just before the hour mark and was only on the pitch for six minutes before Karlan Grant grabbed his second and the Terrier’s 3rd goal of the game, leaving the home side with it all to do. However, Nasri’s experience and ability in these games was vital as he continued to keep the Hammer’s ticking, and eventually set up Javier Hernandez’s first goal.

When we get to the end of the season, West Ham fans will look back on yesterday’s clash as their game of the season, unless of course, something bewildering can happen in one of their final eight games. The finish to yesterday’s clash was phenomenal and the fans can thank Manuel Pellegrini for his progressive in-game changes and the decision to bring in Nasri on a short-term deal back in January, as the ex-Manchester City and Arsenal man changed the game for the good.

The Irons loved seeing Nasri come on and change the game yesterday and will be desperate for the Frenchman to feature more in the final eight games of the season.
