West Ham fans were far from happy with Slaven Bilic towards the end of his tenure at the club. Despite a highly impressive 2015/16 campaign in which Dimitri Payet starred as the Hammers finished 5th, it didn’t take long for things to fall apart, and the fans will be far from surprised to hear that Bilic has now been sacked by Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.

The majority of the West Ham United supporters hold nothing against Bilic and like him as a person and a pundit. However, his coaching skills have impressed them far less and they don’t think that the Croatian is the man who should have been in charge of them for as long as he was given his questionable skills as a manager. It’s for those reasons that his sacking comes as no surprise.
In Bilic’s time in Saudi Arabia he only won three of his 15 matches in charge, and Ghana Soccernet have reported that the club has already moved to bring in his replacement by appointing Jose Luis Sierra, a Chilean coach who has only ever managed in his native Chile, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This will certainly be a tough blow for Bilic to come back from, and whilst the Irons aren’t too shocked to see him flop, they hope he’ll bounce back.

The Irons aren’t at all surprised to see their former gaffer sacked and would love to see him go back into punditry as opposed to management.
