West Ham United fans playing darts in The Transfer are delighted with reports linking the club with a Brazilian striker.
The Express is reporting that West Ham are set to make a shock move for Alexandre Pato from Brazilian club Corinthians.
The striker, who was tipped to be the next big thing in Brazil, has seen his career become stagnant and he has fallen out of favour at Corinthians; having been on loan at São Paulo since last year.
The 26-year-old began his career with Internacional but after 10 appearances and six goals, he joined Serie A giants AC Milan.
During his time in Italy he played a part in helping Milan win the Serie A title, Italian Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
He will bring added experience to the West Ham squad that Slaven Bilic has formed, with a proven track record of scoring goals wherever he has been, having scored 129 goals in 333 career appearances.
The West Ham fans in The Transfer Tavern are delighted to be linked with a player like Pato, who clearly still has something to offer as he was linked with a move to Manchester United this past summer.
Hammers fans, is this experienced Brazilian the man to clinch European football for you? Let us know in the comments below!
