West Ham have yet to enjoy any consistency this season, one week gaining a brilliant result, the next game losing.
Arguably, it comes down to the players still adapting their game to Manuel Pellegrini’s likings and the club haven’t been helped by the injuries players have been getting.
West Ham though, regardless of their current 13th position, have the squad of players to achieve more and that’s exactly what their fans want to see.
To do so may require another injection of money in January so they can improve their squad.
A striker could well be a position of interest on their list, considering that both Andy Carroll and Mark Arnautovic are injury doubts, plus Javier Hernandez’s future at the club is surely unstable at this point.
To rectify that situation, they could find an amazing goal-scorer in Ajax youngster Kasper Dolberg.
Dolberg, who is valued at £10.8 million on Transfermarkt, is a player that undoubtedly in the long term would improve West Ham.
With five goals in seven appearances so far this season in Eredivisie, Dolberg is well on his way to emulating what would be another terrific goal haul, like when he achieved 16 in the 2016/17 season.
West Ham certainly have some creative attackers that Dolberg could feed off as well and chances would be aplenty if he joined the London Stadium.
The goalscoring 21-year-old is as good in the air as he is on the ground setting up team-mates. At his age, he is really blossoming into a top striker that West Ham would be lucky to get their hands on. Desperate for a hero at the London Stadium, it’d be quite the coup for the Hammers.
