West Ham: Fans react to Mark Noble’s comments on David Moyes

West Ham are in a tight spot in the Premier League as they fight for their place in the division.
The Hammers sit 16th and are currently three points above the drop. Club captain Mark Noble has been discussing their current situation and many Irons fans have reacted to these comments.
Writing in a column for the Evening Standard, the 33 year-old said: “As a minimum, we need a couple of wins from our games and I am confident we can get them. With such a schedule, though, the manager will certainly need to make changes to keep everyone relatively fresh.”
These comments are rather pertinent in light of statistics which came out earlier this week, via The Athletic journalist Roshane Thomas, showing a graphic which emphasised that Moyes has made the second fewest substitutions per game of any manager in the division this season. Thomas said: “West Ham’s bench strategy needs to improve if they are to avoid relegation.”
Clearly Noble agrees that Moyes’ tactics leave room for improvement, but some fans have had varied responses, as one wrote “Nice dig at the manager Mark” whilst another said “Tell Moyes to keep you on the bench”.
Frustrations are understandably growing between supporters at the club and the Hammers will need to keep producing results such as last night’s win over Chelsea to ensure their Premier League status for next season.
Here is what these Hammers fans said following the comments from Noble:

Noble is completely correct – Moyes needs to make changes for the starting line up and actually utilise the fact West Ham are able to make five substitutions per game; Wilshere needs game minutes based on how poor the midfield have been in the past two games. Improvements needed.

We thought that too Nobes. Yet Moyes played you for 90 mins against Wolves then 70 mins against Spurs. Ajeti, Silva and Wilshere got ZERO minutes. Moyes doesn’t do changes or substitutions. He is a dinosaur

Tell Moyes to keep you on the bench
