Flocking to social media during West Ham’s encounter with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this afternoon, plenty of Hammers saw fit to blast the ‘selfish‘ performance of attacker Pablo Fornals – despite the Spaniard providing an assist for Sebastien Haller.
Fornals, who often starts in place of summer signing Said Benrahma, with manager David Moyes attempting to ease the Algerian in slowly, didn’t attract much praise despite helping the Hammers open their account in Yorkshire.

Indeed, the £16.2 million-valued star attracted criticism for his lack of potency at times in the final third against Chris Wilder’s men – with one fan even likening him to a ‘headless chicken‘ before he came off for Manuel Lanzini midway through the second period.
Other fans said they didn’t even realise he was playing and lambasted the Spaniard as ‘rubbish’, and you can find all of their verdicts from Twitter down below.
