West Ham United: Andriy Yarmolenko is attracting interest from China

The atmosphere at West Ham United has not been great lately, and that was summed up by the fact that captain Mark Noble tweeted out his frustrations over academy prospect Grady Diangana being sold.

Fans would probably prefer signings to start coming in now, however it looks like another player could be on his way out as Sky Sports are reporting, via West Ham News on Twitter, that Andriy Yarmolenko is a transfer target for Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng.

The winger has had a hard time at the club as he has missed 45 games due to injury, per Transfermarkt. When he has featured, he has made 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven and assisting two.

The fan reaction to this update has been mixed as some are happy for him to go for a decent price, whilst others believe he still has something to give for the club.

He did score two in his last seven Premier League games for the club, with no injury in between so it looked like he might have been finding some form, and the club do have Felipe Anderson and Jarrod Bowen as wingers, but with Diangana gone, a bit of squad depth would be good so it will be interesting to see if this transfer goes ahead.
