A post by the club on Twitter has got a lot of the West Ham fanbase talking about former striker Carlton Cole and his time at the club.
The 36-year-old enjoyed a great career, in which he won the Premier League with Chelsea, per Transfermarkt, but he spent the majority of it in East London with the Hammers. He made 293 appearances for the team across 10 seasons, managing to score 67 goals and picking up 33 assists.
The club’s post believed his goal against Manchester City had to be one of his best, however the fanbase had many different replies to what they believe his best goal was, highlighting that the forward netted plenty of decent strikes during his career at Upton Park.
Other notable mentions included his screamer against rivals Tottenham Hotspur and a goal against Birmingham in the League Cup, per Transfermarkt.
The forward also made his England debut in 2009 but only featured seven times, and also won the Scottish top flight with Celtic in 2015/16.

Hmmm think of a few I prefer:
Birmingham away semi final
Stoke (back to goal)
Newcastle away (control with thigh and bang).
Wigan away team goal and curled finish.— Mills ⚒ (@gtmills) April 19, 2020
No he scored a screamer against spurs and the one away to Wigan was pretty special plus a worldy against Birmingham in the cup!

Close, but his best goal IMHO was away at Wigan, one of the best team goals I’ve seen. His best ‘finish’ as in how he struck it, possibly the one v Spurs. This is darn good though – good shouts on the semi-final goal at Brum cos I’d purged the rest of that game from my memory!

Carlton Cole’s best goal for West Ham was the goal he scored against Tottenham at home in 2009; in terms of technique. Quality goal.
