West Ham United have already completed some transfer business during the extended domestic transfer window by signing Craig Dawson. Another player they have been linked with is Ryan Manning, but a latest transfer update suggests that a move for that particular player won’t happen.
According to @ExWHUemployee, the Queens Park Rangers defender is very unlikely to join the club as David Moyes “doesn’t rate him”.
The left-back had a very impressive campaign last season as he played 41 times in the Championship. Defensively, he managed on average two tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 1.7 clearances per game, via WhoScored. He also did well in attack as he picked up four goals, seven assists and averaged 1.9 key passes a game.

Stats-wise, the 24-year-old looks like a very good asset, so it is surprising that Moyes does not rate him, but there is not much you can do if the manager is not impressed and as such, the club will have to look at other targets.

So how comes with been linked with him for the past 3 weeks… the gulf in strategy/belief/mindset/understanding between Moyes and Sullivan is massive. It’s damaging. You cannot have two people at a club picking contrasting players. It’s a farce

Im very interested to see who the manager does rate & bring in. Makes me worry a little that he rated Hugill but never played him anyhow🤷🏻♂️🙈⚒

Ridiculous from Moyes he didn’t “rate” James Maddison 2 years ago when he was our manager good choice that 😑 clueless bloke can’t wait till he leaves end of the season

That’s unfortunate as a utility player would be useful given squad lack of depth

Surprise surprise Moyes doesn’t rate a good player. Good enough for national team at his age but not good enough to provide cover @WestHam swear I’ll never understand
