After West Ham succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Man United, plenty of Hammers discussed what went wrong for their side after seemingly dominating the first half – with a crucial turning point in the match being Paul Pogba’s stunning equaliser.
Tomas Soucek put the Irons in front, feeding off a flick on by Declan Rice to stab home the opening goal – nothing more than David Moyes’ men deserved at that stage.
After a brilliant first period by all accounts, what followed was drama – as Pogba burst the net with a sensational long-range effort to draw the visiting side level.
However, the ball did appear to go out of play in the build-up to the goal, with this issue among other aspects of the game drawing plenty of debate in reaction to ExWHUemployee’s tweet.

Imo we were very unlucky and the problem wasn’t the attackers, it was conceding 3 goals in 10 minutes when usually/recently we’ve barely conceded a goal a game
