Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report regarding the Hammers’ interest in Senegalese centre-forward, Boulaye Dia.
According to a report by France Football, West Ham recently had a bid rejected for the Stade Reims striker as the offer ‘did not reach’ the €15 million (£13.3 million) valuation the Ligue 1 side have of Dia.

The report continues by stating that, despite being ‘seduced by his profile’, David Moyes’ side are now no longer leading the race – with club’s such as Napoli, AC Milan and Torino also said to be interested to sign the £10.8 million-rated 24-year-old.
The West Ham board (GSB) feel that Reims’ €15 million asking price is a ‘little too high’ for a player who is ‘ultimately quite inexperienced’.
However, this would not appear to be a stance that some West Ham fans agree with, as, after West Ham Central relayed the report on Twitter, many flocked to have their say on the matter, with a number of them labelling the board’s apparent decision as a joke.
