West Ham United could attempt to sign Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge in the current transfer window, that is according to @ExWHUemployee.

The shot stopper is thought to be considered as an alternative option to Darren Randolph, who the Hammers have made a bid for which was rejected by Middlesbrough.
It is thought that they may try again for the Irish international, but if a second bid is turned down then they will look to either Etheridge or Bournemouth’s Asmir Begovic.
The Philippines international has started 16 times for the Bluebirds in the Championship this term (Transfermarkt) and also played all 38 games for them in the Premier League last season (Transfermarkt).
Whilst Cardiff were relegated, Etheridge actually impressed between the sticks and made the second most saves of any goalkeeper (141) with only current Hammers stopper Lukasz Fabianski (148) making more (premierleague.com).
It seems that the 29-year-old would be a popular signing amongst the West Ham faithful, many of whom said that they would like to see him brought in by David Moyes.
Here is what some said on Twitter…
