After a disappointing start to the season, the West Ham fans in the Tavern have considered this campaign as a bit of a write-off.

Slaven Bilic’s men have struggled amid their transition to the London Stadium, and provided that the Hammers stay in the Premier League – they have begun thinking about who could transform their season next year.

West Ham have a host of young talent at the club, and whilst many are on loan this year – next year could be the season that they finally make the breakthrough into the first team.

In fact, our landlord thinks that a few of West Ham’s loan stars could revolutionise their first team next season.

With that said, West Ham fans should be genuinely excited about these TWO loanees….

 Martin Samuelson

Martin Samuelson is a very exciting attacking midfielder, particularly well known for his creativity going forward.

At just 19 years old, his dribbling is at a level beyond his years – and he is proving to be a thorn in the side of his opposition.

Our landlord is backing him for a West Ham return next season.

 Reece Burke

Reece Burke is a well-known member of West Ham’s loan army, and has impressed during the limited game time he has had with the Premier League side.

Currently away on loan with Wigan Athletic, Burke is an exciting defender that can play across the back four.

He is incredibly composed on the ball, and our landlord has likened him to John Stones.

He definitely has a bright future, but Slaven Bilic must utilise him sooner rather than later.

The West Ham punters by the jukebox think that he could be in the Hammers first team by next season.
