According to journalist Dave Appadoo, as translated and shared by Sport Witness, West Ham United are making a late effort to sign Paris-Saint Germain ace Idrissa Gueye.

Indeed, according to Appadoo, GSB are in a late attempt to sign Gueye with the Hammers apparently waiting on his response – and it is suggested that the midfielder could be open to a potential move.
The former Aston Villa and Everton star, having enjoyed a few seasons in the Premier League, is now at the centre of West Ham’s interest as per this late claim.

Given all the noise surrounding a potential striker signing, this update could be seen as unexpected, but West Ham’s reported efforts are not without merit judging by the player’s past plaudits.
The £108,000-per-week ace has been called a ‘monster’ in the past by former Villa and Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood (talkSPORT), and this is backed up by the fact he has averaged around 2.4 tackles per 90 this season (WhoScored), which is the second highest amount on his team and would also be second at Goodison behind only tackling machine Allan (Whoscored, of players with more than one appearance).
