There’s always good rivalries here in the Football Transfer Tavern and two of the biggest London fan bases are at it in here tonight.
As according to talkSPORT, London rivals West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are battling it out to sign Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili.
Spurs have been strongly linked with the Swiss international who has impressed no end in Serie A this season.
New Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking for his first signing at White Hart Lane this season and it’s believed that former Bolton Wanderers star Dzemaili could be one of them.
But he will now have a fight on his hands after West Ham entered the race to sign the experienced midfielder.
And that could hand the Hammers an extra advantage as Allardyce worked with Dzemaili during his time as manager at the Reebok Stadium.
