Pablo Fornals scored his first West Ham United goal last month in the Carabao Cup and many Hammers fans are keen to see him feature in the competition again.
The strike that helped West Ham earn a 2-0 victory, came when he got on the end of Felipe Anderson’s pass in the box and coolly tucked it away, as shown in the highlights video on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.

Fornals is yet to get a goal or assist in the Premier League, having made two starts and four substitute appearances, as per WhoScored.
However, this has not concerned many Hammers fans, as they feel he needs time to adapt to the Premier League and that he will eventually come through.
What has encouraged some is his work rate, especially regarding the defensive side of the game, which is indicated by the fact he has averaged 1.3 tackles per game.
The thinking could be that if Fornals is able to make a mark in games against lower league opposition, then this could help bring out his creative confidence during league games.
