The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s multi-year extension deal with betting company, William Hill. The company have been working with Spurs since the start of the 2016/17 season and the deal is to continue after huge success in the first two years. Whilst the news that Spurs have made the move to extend their deal with William Hill isn’t as exciting as them agreeing a transfer for the next wonderkid in Europe, the money generated from the deal will come in handy for Mauricio Pochettino and co as they enter the silly season. Spurs have been financially setback by their new stadium move, although with a budget of something in the region of £100 million plus whatever is generated in player sales, Spurs fans will take whatever they can get.
Daniel Levy has developed a reputation for being coy in the market and he’ll need to be in the upcoming summer window. Both Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose are nailed on to leave N17 in the coming months, whilst Mousa Dembele could also be on his way. Given the fact that Spurs could be losing three of their star players, Levy and Poch will have to scour the market to find suitable replacements within their budget. It remains to be seen whether the club will be able to recruit successfully although Spurs fans will definitely be keeping his fingers crossed.

I wish the Club didn't involve itself with betting companies.
