Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to a strong end to their season with silverware on the cards.
The Lilywhites have once again been brilliant this year and whilst a league win looks out of the question this campaign there certainly is cause for them to be optimistic over lifting the FA Cup.
Doing so could prove a watershed moment for Mauricio Pochettino and his young squad with them surely being able to build on that and get some more trophies in before too long.
The squad will be keen to do that, then, but it appears Erik Lamela is not going to be a part of any imminent success with him ruled out through injury for the rest of the season.
Indeed, the club has confirmed on Twitter he will undergo surgery and, naturally, many have been quick to react to the news.
