Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were lashing out at UEFA after Tim Spiers revealed the latest news about their tie against Olympiacos amid a postponement in the Premier League.
Spiers revealed that the game is due to go ahead despite the fact players of the Greek outfit have had contact with owner Evangelos Marinakis. The allowance to let the fixture proceed comes amid the postponement of Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City, which was due to take place tonight, however, was called off due to the contact some of Mikel Arteta’s squad had with the 52-year-old.
One fan called the organisation ‘bullies’.

Marinakis confirmed on his Instagram yesterday that he had contracted the virus and that he would be following the orders of doctors to self-isolate. As a result of his news, the squad for the Red and Whites were tested in hospital, but, have since been cleared of having Covid-19. Supporters weren’t best pleased with European football’s governing body as they took to Twitter to lash out at them. Here is a selection of tweets:
