Plenty of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have reacted to a transfer link to Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama after a Twitter post from Talking Wolves relayed information from Fanatik.
The report stated that Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Everton were also interested in the DR Congo international. The Toffees were Luyindama’s number one suitor, but Wolves remain keen on the 26-year old.
Luyindama has averaged 2.8 tackles, four clearances and 1.3 blocks per Champions League game this season, more than anyone else at the Turkish club, according to Whoscored. This will be encouraging to WWFC supporters who will be hoping their side can break into the competition off the back of this campaign, indeed they still remain in the Europa League and currently sit sixth in the Premier League table, as per the BBC.
In the Super Lig, the central defender wins 6.9 total duels per match whilst also averaging 3.8 clearances, 1.7 tackles and 1.2 interceptions, keeping four clean sheets, as per Sofascore, showing that he gets stuck in whichever competition he plays in.
