The Molineux club have endured a disappointing start to the season, with no wins from their first six Premier League games leaving them second from bottom in the table.
They have failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions and only a 95th-minute equaliser from Diogo Jota against Crystal Palace on Sunday spared them from a fourth successive defeat.
However, it has not been all bad for Wolves in the early weeks of 2019/20 – they won all six of their Europa League qualifying games to reach the group stage in their first European participation since 1980.
They have also made huge strides in recent seasons, rising from a 15th-place Championship finish in 2016/17 to top the division the following year and then finish seventh on their return to the Premier League, in addition to reaching the FA Cup semi-finals last term.
