Loads of Wolves fans have been heaping praise on Willy Boly following his return from injury.
The 29-year-old helped his side earn a point against Manchester United in a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford over the weekend after an extended period out. An ankle fracture picked up in training back in October had sidelined him, but he has since recovered and showed little signs of rust in his comeback game.
From the right side of Nuno Espirito Santo’s back three, Boly helped inspire his team to a clean sheet and that satisfying point. According to WhoScored, he managed to make two tackles and win two aerial duels — only Romain Saiss (three) and Victor Lindelof (four) were more successful when competing in the air. It is no surprise that one fan used the word “immense” to describe his display.
Indeed, it was a strong performance from the Ivory Coast international, leading to praise from supporters. Take a look at what they have been saying about their central defender below…

Class defender but brings the best out of others around him too. Allows Neves to get further up and dictate play, and Coady gets on the ball more.

Solid with the big chief back, natural leader.
