Birmingham Live described the performance as “dominant” and didn’t rate a single player below 7.5/10, proving just how good Nuno Espírito Santo’s side were on the night. After the game the manager said: “It was a good game, a good performance, I think we played very good.
“We stayed organised, West Ham are a very good team, we didn’t concede chances. A clean sheet – very happy for that. Very happy for the hard work of the boys, because they went until the end and it’s good” (quotes via Wolves website).
Nuno repeatedly punched the air to gee up the crowd following the win, and their supporters lapped it up. The club posted a clip of his passion on their official Twitter account and it was clear to see just how much the Molineux faithful love their boss.
