The shirts worn by Wolves’ players in tonight’s Europa League play-off first leg away to Torino will feature the Wolves Foundation charity across the front in place of regular shirt sponsor ManBetX.
Wolves’ official Twitter channel (@Wolves) relayed the news to its followers ahead of the match in Turin.

The Premier League club were prohibited from displaying their regular shirt sponsor for the match as sponsorship restrictions in Italy do not allow the advertising of betting companies, as noted by Wolves.co.uk.
Consequently, the club offered to amend the kit for the game at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino to instead feature Wolves Foundation, a move that received the full support of ManBetX.
This will not be the first time that the charity has been featured on a Wolves kit – in last season’s Premier League fixture at home to Brighton, Wolves Foundation was displayed underneath the club crest.
In similar circumstances, Wolves wore an alternative shirt sponsor during last month’s Premier League Asia Trophy participation due to promotional restrictions in China, displaying Fosun International’s branding on the kit in place of ManBetX. [via Wolves.co.uk]
