Former Wolves midfielder Jamie O’Hara has been named as the new manager of National League South club Billericay Town, as reported by Birmingham Live and tweeted by The Athletic’s Wolves reporter Tim Spiers on Twitter [via @TimSpiers].

The 32-year-old made 57 appearances for Wolves between 2011 and 2014, but scored just six goals and the club went from the Premier League to League One during his time at Molineux. [via TransferMarkt.co.uk]
O’Hara had a rather unhappy time at Wolves in his playing days, having to go for surgery on double hernia and groin problems in the 2011/12 season, during which he was also involved in a confrontation with some Wolves supporters after a game, as reported by BBC.
When Wolves were relegated to League One in 2013, O’Hara sarcastically clapped fans who had jeered him, as reported by the Daily Express.
He was initially not given a squad number at Molineux for the 2013/14 season, with then-manager Kenny Jackett telling the Express & Star that the midfielder was not in his plans.
