Wolves defender Willy Boly has been called up to the senior Ivory Coast squad for the first time, as reported by the Express & Star.
Wolves fan channel @TalkingWolves on Twitter subsequently congratulated him on being selected for Ibrahima Kamara‘s squad.

The 28-year-old centre-back represented France at several underage levels but had never been selected for senior recognition by Les Bleus, and he qualifies for Ivory Coast due to the nationality of his parents.
As noted by the Express & Star, Boly is among several England-based players in the Elephants’ squad for their upcoming friendlies against Benin and Tunisia, with Wilfried Zaha, Nicolas Pepe, Serge Aurier and Yakou Meite also included.
Boly has been an integral presence of Wolves’ first team since arriving at the club in 2017, making 87 appearances across the last couple of years and scoring seven goals.
